24/7 uptime, no host-required

Your friends can dive while you sleep. Dedicated Pterodactyl container with auto-restart on crash. World persists, exploration continues whether anyone's online or not.

Falkenstein (DE) data center

15–35 ms ping for German, Austrian, Swiss, Dutch, French and Polish players. EU-only data routing, GDPR compliant. The lowest-latency option for European Subnautica 2 crews.

Patches deployed within hours

Early access games patch frequently — sometimes weekly. We push updated server binaries to our egg within hours of Unknown Worlds' Steam release. Restart in the panel, you're current.

Full Pterodactyl panel access

Real file manager (edit configs, drop in future mods), live console, FTP, scheduled tasks. Set automated daily save-backups in the panel — no losing 40 hours of base-building.

Monthly billing, live upgrades

Pay monthly via Stripe. Upgrade RAM mid-month when your crew grows from 4 to 8. Cancel anytime — no 30/90/180-day lock-in like the big hosters do.

Frequently asked

How much RAM does a Subnautica 2 server need?

Minimum 4 GB for 2–4 players in early-game. 6 GB for 4–6 players with mid-game base complexity. 8 GB for the full 8-player early-access cap with late-game progression. 12 GB only needed for community servers with very large structures or heavy modding once that ecosystem matures.

How many players can join a Subnautica 2 server?

Up to 8 in current early access. We provision capacity for the full 8. The sweet spot for stability and gameplay enjoyment is 4–6 players — anything past that and base coordination gets hectic.

Is the Subnautica 2 dedicated server tool out?

Yes. Unknown Worlds shipped the dedicated server binary with the early access launch, and we have it pre-installed on our Pterodactyl egg. Your server provisions automatically within 1–3 minutes of checkout.

How fast are patches applied?

Within hours of Unknown Worlds' Steam release. Early access games patch every 1–4 weeks; we push updated server binaries to our egg and notify customers via Discord. Restart the server in the panel to apply.

Can I migrate a save from another host or local?

Yes. Subnautica 2 saves are file-based — pull them via FTP from your old host (or copy from your local %APPDATA%/Subnautica2 folder), upload via our SFTP panel, restart. Takes 5 minutes.

Are Subnautica 2 mods supported?

Modding is very early since the game just launched. The community is still figuring out the file structure — once mod-loaders stabilize (likely BepInEx-based like the original Subnautica), we'll add one-click support. Until then, manual mod upload via SFTP works for early experimental mods.

What about my world if I cancel?

You can download a full world backup at any time via the panel. If you cancel, the server is preserved for 7 days giving you time to grab a backup before deletion.
