Valheim

Nordic co-op survival — modest footprint, smooth for small squads up to 10 vikings.

Valheim hosting on Renzom

Valheim is one of the lightest dedicated-server games on the market — 4 GB RAM comfortably covers a 10-person group on a fresh map. We host it on dedicated RAM with full mod support via BepInEx and Thunderstore in the panel's file editor.

The Renzom panel handles BepInEx installation automatically when you upload a Thunderstore profile. SFTP access, world backups, scheduled restarts and a live console come standard.

Standard DDoS protection, German data center (Falkenstein), monthly billing with live RAM upgrades. From €6/month for the 4 GB tier.

Live price in the configurator, varies slightly with node load. RAM upgrades live in the panel without migration.

Common questions

How much RAM does Valheim need?

4 GB is comfortable for up to 10 players on a normal map. 6 GB if your group has built lots of large structures (Valheim's terrain modification eats memory). 8 GB only for heavily-modded servers (50+ Thunderstore mods).

Can I install Thunderstore mods?

Yes. Upload a Thunderstore profile through SFTP or the panel's file manager — BepInEx is pre-installed on our Valheim image. Mods load on next server restart.

Is server-side vs client-side mod compatibility a problem?

It depends on the mod. Most gameplay mods require both. Cosmetic / UI mods are usually client-only. The panel doesn't enforce this — you have to communicate to your players which mods to install.

How do I migrate my world from a Nitrado / G-Portal Valheim server?

Download the `worlds/` folder via your old host's FTP, upload to Renzom's panel via SFTP, restart. Takes 5 minutes.

Where is the server hosted?

Falkenstein, Saxony, Germany. 15–35 ms ping across DACH.
