Project Zomboid

Project Zomboid Build 41+ dedicated — Steam workshop mods supported, 4–12 GB depending on save size.

Project Zomboid hosting on Renzom

Project Zomboid's Build 42 brought a flood of new players. We host PZ servers with proper Java heap tuning (the difference between smooth gameplay and 5-second freeze pauses).

4 GB RAM covers most 4–8 player vanilla servers. 6–8 GB for heavily modded servers (Britas, Filibuster Rhymes, etc.). Workshop mod IDs are configured in the panel startup variables.

Falkenstein data center, DDoS included, monthly billing.

Common questions

How much RAM does PZ need?

4 GB for 4–8 players vanilla. 6 GB for 8 players with 20+ Workshop mods. 8 GB for big communities (Britas + Filibuster + Eris + Authentic Z stack).

Build 41 or Build 42?

We support both. Build 42 needs more RAM (allocate +1 GB vs same player count on 41). Switch via panel startup variable.

Mods via Steam Workshop?

Yes. Set `WorkshopItems` and `Mods` in the panel startup. Server auto-downloads on boot. Order matters for some mods — we link to the documented load order in our PZ guide.

Backups for saves?

1 free backup slot. Schedule daily backups in the panel. PZ saves are sensitive — back up before mod changes.

Where is the server?

Falkenstein, Saxony, Germany.
