Minecraft

Java/Bedrock-style servers — Paper, Vanilla, Forge, Fabric, NeoForge. Plugins, modpacks, friends-scale worlds.

Minecraft hosting on Renzom

Renzom hosts Minecraft servers in Falkenstein (Saxony, Germany) on dedicated RAM with the full Pterodactyl panel. You get one-click switching between Vanilla, Paper, Spigot, Purpur, Folia, Mohist, Magma, Forge, NeoForge, Fabric, Quilt, and Bedrock — without recreating the server. Worlds and config persist across loader changes.

Pricing is RAM-based: €2.49/GB/month. Slots are included up to the engine's hard cap. Live upgrades are free — if your modpack outgrows 4 GB mid-month, you raise the tier in the panel and the server keeps running. No 30/90/180-day prepayment.

DDoS protection is standard at every tier. Automated backups are configurable in the panel. SFTP, real-time console, scheduled restarts and a Modrinth mod-browser are part of the default Renzom panel.

Common questions

How much RAM does my Minecraft server need?

Rule of thumb: 2 GB for 1–5 friends Vanilla, 4 GB for 5–15 players with light plugins, 6 GB for Paper with 10–20 plugins, 8 GB for Fabric/Forge modded (50 mods), 10–12 GB for medium modpacks (ATM, Create), 12–16 GB for heavy packs (RLCraft, GTNH). More RAM doesn't always help — Java's GC handles small worlds with large heaps worse than appropriately sized ones.

Which server loaders are supported?

Vanilla (1.8 — latest), Paper, Spigot, Purpur, Folia, Mohist, Magma, Forge, NeoForge, Fabric, Quilt, Bedrock, Bungeecord, Velocity, Waterfall. One-click switching in the Renzom panel preserves your world and files.

Can I install Modrinth or CurseForge modpacks?

Yes. Three ways: (1) Modrinth browser built into the panel, (2) SFTP upload your ZIP, (3) guided setup as a €20 one-time service for complex packs.

Where is the server hosted?

Falkenstein, Saxony, Germany. Typical pings: 15–35 ms across DACH, 25–45 ms for Netherlands/France/Poland, 40–70 ms for UK/Spain/Italy. EU-only data routing, GDPR-compliant.

What's the cancellation policy?

Monthly Stripe subscription. Cancel anytime in the panel, prorated through the end of the current billing month. No long-term contracts.
